Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tim and I'm from Raleigh, NC. I just talked my dad into selling me his 1991 turbo 5spd. I've been begging for him for this car for the past 10 years because its AWESOME. I've been lurking on the forums for a while now but I figured I should go ahead and say "what's up"....so, what's up? It's great to see such a large community that loves the MKIII as much as I do. I look forward to asking you guys for TONS of advice because I plan on hooking my baby up as much as I can. Yes, Sam Mills was the man! When i'm able to get my own place - i'm moving to NC just so i can go to my teams games.

yeah, stupid new orleans. only reason they went to the playoffs (and did absolutely squat i might add) is because we beat-up michael vick for them a game prior to them playing atlanta - and vick didn't play.
also, by some unknown force which propelled them to blocking a tying fg in the last few seconds. (or shall we say jumping off another players back to block a fg which is highly illegal and never was called)

dude, I was AT that game last year! Pissed me off so much. To be fair, that was a looooooooong ass field goal attempt, but if anyone could pull it off its Kasey. He's the fuggin MAN!

And yeah, we just won't talk about that super bowl.

Last year was just horrible losing pretty much HALF of our starters right at the beginning of the year. But even with all those guys out we still did damn well.

I try to make it to at least a couple games every year. I LOVE football too and I LOVE my panthers. Been a fan since 95. Back when we had ole "glass jaw" Kerry Collins.

When you move to NC you should move here to Raleigh. Then we can cruise around and eat some Hondas for lunch.

Yeah, losing everybody was freaking crazy. we lost ALL of our 1st rate guys in what - the first two games? I'l tell you what. You look up the word "team" in the dictionary and you should see the Panthers logo right next to it. I'm amazed how much all of our 2nd and 3rd rate players stepped up in the clutch. most teams pack up and call it a year after a 1-7 start, and are far from thinking about a 7-9 finish with a run at the playoffs.

everybodys back at full-strength now, and we have some great draft additions as well. this year i want a super bowl ring! we'll just keep pounding them untill we get one!

thanks man! yeah my dad is all about regular maintenance. So even though it's got 180k on it, she still runs perfect. He replaced the HG on it about 6 months ago (not because it was blown, just because it was a good idea) and kept it all tuned up. I'm as happy as a little school girl about getting it from him.
I need to have the hood and the roof painted cuz they're fading pretty good. As soon as I get a free weekend, I'm gonna pull my stereo out of my eclipse and put it in the supra. My first purchase is gonna be a new BOV cus I'm pretty sure mine's shot.
