Hey guys I just thought Id introduce myself on here. I've been lurking for a bit while my account got validated and have learned a lot. I'm recently picked up my new car which was a 1988 Volvo 740 wagon w/ a 1JZGTE engine and R154 trans in it. I've been working on the whole Volvo thing and own a fully built 850R, but I figure that the wagon has far more potential even on the stock internals. Right now I'm waiting on a ecu before I can get it driving since another shop in Santa Monica area stole my original ecu that was being repaired. The guys name was Aidan if anyone knows him :3d_frown:. The car already has some stuff done including a 20x9x4 FMIC, light weight pulleys, AEM intake, and a few gauges...but obviously that is no where near enough. I got tons of plans and hopefully I'll be sitting on a 400-500hp driver in the next year or so. Here is a list list that I've come up with to bring me to my mark....

• Ford 8.8 rear end
• Seam weld unibody
• Reinforced suspension
• Adjustable panhard rod
• Reinforced subframe
• AEM ems - or Maft pro/SAFC NEO
• Gt35R
• Tubular manifold
• TIAL External wastegate
• 3.5’’ exhaust
• 550 injectors
• New Intake manifold
• HKS SSQV/TIAL
• Suspension - 4 Link?
• 15x8 wheels w/ tires
• Brakes - BBK?
• Adjustable torque rods
• Fuel Pump
• Misc Gauges - ARF, EGT, etc

Anyways, let me know what you guys think. Im very excited to get this thing started and finally have a car where parts are easily available.

Few Pics - Excuse how dirty the engine bay was, that was the first day I had it and I hadn't even attempted to clean it yet.

I think thats the first Volvo I have ever liked, lol. Welcome to SupraMania!

+1. I hate 90% of Euro's no matter what they are, but that is freakin SICK. Good luck and throw down a build thread to keep us posted on your progress. Shit, this might as well be stickied as "SM's best sleeper" or somethin.
