Hey, hows it goin :naughty:..... JK.

I was asked by shaeff to come over and share my build. So I guess some background would be good. I've had the Sup for quite some time now, but for the past 3 or so years it has been parked in my garage due to a BHG and other stuff going on that prevented me from doing anything with it. Well the time has finally come to get it done....so the saga begins.....

I've just linked to the other forum (hope thats not bad), I think all the pics added to one thread would be too much. If you would rather I post all the pics under this thread, let me know. So far I have 3 build updates (#3 being the newest of course) but all further updates I will make a new thread here as well, and not just link to the other forum. Enjoy.......

Build update #1 (clutch, turbo, fuel lines)
Build update #2 (partially fabed up DP, pre fitting under hood stuff)
Build update #3 (FFI fabed up, EGT probe install, and goodies)

Hey, thanks guys.

The hood should fit just fine (it's off the car right now), but the mock up intake actually sat a little higher and had no issues.

The turbo is a stock rebuild for now. The reason being is, the motor is a fresh rebuild also, and the car had no previous mods. So in order to break in the motor properly I need to run as stock as possible so I'm not trying to tune during the break in. After the break in I will either sell this turbo and buy one better suited for 15-20psi. Or I'll have the stocker upgraded.

I wish I could, but it's hard enough to find the time to work on my own projects (not complaining mind you, I like my job, and it pays for all my toys :icon_bigg ).

Excellent work on the intake manifold :icon_bigg .I take it you are a welder/ fabricator by trade? Awsome work.

Well, I've basically done it for most my life, but no, I've never made a career of it. I install Pro Audio, and run live sound.

jimi, glad to see you've joined SM. you'll find it's got much more traffic than I-S. as well as many more knowledgable people. (Nick M is here, too.) and, all the work you've put into your car, most people can take the time to appreciate it a bit more here.

:)
