hey everybody. i registered here to look up some information on the older supras because i might be picking one up. never owned anything except hondas and if i get a good enough deal this will be my first supra. my moms boyfriend has one sitting in his backyard that has something wrong with it. from what i have read so far it is most likley the head gasket. he got the car from a guy that owed him 8 months rent on a property he has so the guy decided he would just give up the car instead. from what i can tell it's pretty clean. nice straight body and good paint and decent interior. here are some pics.

ok. it wasn't running when he got it. i guess the guy was in the middle of fixxing it. all the parts are still there, and whats not in the engine bay is in the trunk. i'm trying to talk him into selling it to me for $500 but i don't see that happening lol. i keep asking him for a price and he asks me what they normally go for. lol, i have no idea what they go for so i told him that one in good shape and running is about 2,000 to 3,500.

BHG 5 speed generally sells for about 600-1000 here in northern california, depending on body and interior condition as well.
