Well where do I start, I recently purchased a clean, Mk III 87, Automatic N/A Supra, (White) For 1,500 (For that price I can't really complain about it being auto) With 56k Miles, Perfect interior, and one patch of rust that I already got rid of.

I started with new wheels and tires ($500 On Craigslist for 17'' Falkens and Kumho's) Which I just scratched tonight (Passenger front) After jumping a curb in the rain on the Penn. Turnpike (Bought the Car in NJ came up here to see a friend) To my amazement, it's still as straight as an arrow and everything cleared it, hell my tires didn't even lose any pressure :D (Mag lite and tire pressure gauge ftw)

The only problem is there seems to be a slight oil leak and it's good for about a quart of oil every two weeks.

Needless to say I have many plans for this girl here.

I'm definately a huge fan of the MkIII body style over the ever-so glammy MKIV's, but I'm more then certain I'll end up puting a Jz2 w/ a 6-speed in either this one, or a future project car. (Might go 7M Power here and make it more of a show car then a race car, then when my feet are in the door I'll start building a true race car out of one of these)

Regardless, this winter I'm trying to atleast get a cold Air intake set up, 2.25 or 2.5" Exhaust (Cat back) and possibley a manual tranny/one piece drive shaft.

By the end of next summer, I'll probably find myself adding boost, but a Manual tranny is definately before that. (Must get more HP to wheels..)

Oh and a little bit about me, I'm 18, College student for graphic design, and I work a summer job in a diesel shop (NJ) Which is my primary source of income for this cars current/future mods.

Before the drive back to CO in august 8th I'm going to do a timing belt, flush the tranny, and figure out which god damn Wheel Baring needs to be replaced (Pretty sure it's the right front..go figure), oh and fix the oil leak/ Windshield washer motor. Otherwise, the car seems to be in pretty good shape, it's shifting a little rough but I"m not to worried about that.

Anyways, Thanks for reading and Nice to meet ya :p
