New headgasket.

So i'm putting on a cometic HG with ARP bolts and all that good stuff. I am also upgrading the turbo to a sp61gt, walbro, lex afm, 550's, blah blah blah. I have 3" exhaust and everything i need so i am straight.

BUT, my question is... how long with a new headgasket (if it seals :aigo: ) do i have to break it in for? its going to be hard with all that power, how long until i can start easing it into action? :evil2:

I run it through a couple of heat cycles (normal driving temp then let it cool fully then repeat usually over 2 days) then I retorque and it's as sealed as it's ever going to be.

Agreed. Headgaskets really don't need a break in period, at least not like new rings.
