Hey supramania, my name is david geiger and ive been on supra forums for about a week or two. i own a 1991 toyota supra 7mgte, its bored .040 over with weisco pistons and eagal rods. Its been converted to stick, has arp studs and is sitting on 19s staggered. So im 17 and going to college soon on a scholarship and got this for a project car. So any ideas on where i shpuld start with upgrades. I know the basic exhaust, downpipe, intercooler, and piping and all, but after that what should be next?

Hey david! welcome to supramania! post some pics of your car for us to see! sounds like you are on the right track as far as upgrading, but before you start with the bolt ons, MAKE SURE you car is running healthy. how many miles are on the motor? does it have good oil pressure? yeah, you could throw some bolt ons on, but without a prepped motor, it will likely cost you more later on down the road. A couple things besides the basics like you mentioned would be the lexus afm with 550cc injector mod. do a little research as it has been covered quite a bit, and remember if you have a question, its most likely happened to someone else already. just search first and you will have a great time here. again, welcome and lets see some pics!

pics r up and the engine has 30 miles on it. its rebuilt. runs strong.

ok. well before you go nuts and start with the bolt ons, make sure you break in your engine properly! dont even think of performance till about 500 miles and an oil change on it. good looking poopra btw!

well thank you. Ive always loved these cars and my father bought one two years ago. he dropped a 2jz gte engine in his and allowed me to help with the build. Ive been hooked ever since. :icon_bigg

Not a fan of those rims but otherwise your car is very clean, I like it. + 1 break that engine in properly before you start worrying about going fast! Welcome to SM.

Thanks. Ive had mine a little over a month now. Im trying to break the engine in nice and slow but im always tempted to go all out. But i guess ill just keep going slow for now. Your car looks really clean to man.
