New Guy With 92

Just picked up a 92 supra a few weeks back, I've been trying to get used to the major differences between it and the MR2 I had, going from a lightweight little roadster to a large comfy GT car takes a little getting used to.

And here's my old MR2

I'm looking forward to learning a new car, the I6 is smooth as silk to drive, and I love the sound of it.

Just one question:
Do you guys remove the rear spoiler or did the Mk3s come without the spoiler in the USA?

I've seen quite a few USDM supras without spoilers. I think the mk3 has to have a rear spoiler. It sort of completes the car in my oppinion.

Kristian,

You have most likely been seeing N/As or turbos where people have taken the spoiler off. The only time I've seen a Turbo Supra w/o a spoiler was when someone had taken it off of the car or it was originally an N/A with an engine swap. I'm not 100% sure, but I think all the turbos came with spoilers.

With that said, there have also been N/As w/ spoilers put on with it. I think it was part of a Sports package, and of course someone could have done it themselves.

I agree. IMO, the MK3 looks a lot better with the spoiler, but I have seen a few without it that have looked very good (OneJoeZee's comes to mind).

Thanks guys, been putting a bit of mileage on it lately, and I have to say... I love the seats. It literally hugs me. :icon_surp I love it!

Yeah we have roads, they just aren't as photogenic, everyone's seen blacktop, I like trying to get off the beaten paths... but I like sports cars, and don't much care for trucks or suvs, so I do what I can. :biglaugh:
