Hey all. Finally purchased a 1990 Turbo 5 spd Targa about two months ago. Car has 190k km. and still runs like a champ from what I've noticed. You might have seen it for sale a while back. Didn’t overheat, no steering(wobbling) issues except the power steering out. Banana yellow, cheezy painted blue interior and rust over the rear fenders. Looking to take it from cheese to "slow down please". Nothing fancy, just stiff suspension and get up and go. My uncle does body work and paint as summer hobbie. Looking to do all black with gold wheels. The main ride is a 1992 Lexus SC400 that's parked for the winter. Looking to meet up with a couple of locals/non locals as well to learn more about these machines. Live in Toronto and work in Mississauga as a draftsman doing aluminum extrusion drawings using Autocad2004. I'm itching to take it for a run. Car came with Apexi boost gauge, Greddy(TVVC) and the 16" beater wheels. Anyways, on to the pics of what I've purchased for the machine.

Ebay intercooler:24x12x3 3"in & out.
3" summit silencer
a/f gauge for that light show every one likes
set of plugs NGK plugs
Apexi old school AFC
FIELDS SFC-R
I have to decide which one to run.

Future plans: change all/most fluids, check torque on head bolts, clean up codes (has 52 code at the moment), fix power steering.

Well, I'm not going to knock the color or I might never hear the end of it from another member.

It sounds like you've already got some decent plans laid out. I look forward to seeing at cleaned up... wish I had the time do get the body work on mine taken care of, but some things must come first. ;)

Have fun with it!

Welcome. What is the original color of the car? I assume the engine bay and doorjambs aren't painted in typical color-change fashion.

Thank you for saving that car.
