New dyno number's from today.

Well i went to the dyno today to see what the new setup would do. Im pretty happy with 551 but they should have been around 580hp if i could have gotten traction. I had 3 guys in the hatch but still couldnt get traction. Oh well atleast i know that the car has 600 in it. Next time im going to have to bring the drag radials with to hopefully get some traction. I have tons of videos of the 15 runs that i did but im going to have to get with my buddy to upload them so it might be a couple days. My new head is amazing also, it just keeps pullin right until i hit the rev limiter. So here is the dyno graph from the best run, hopefully it will tie you guys over till i get the videos up. Let me know what you think.

Here is the mods off the top of my head,750cc injectors, single walbro, afpr, mp T70 turbo, 3" exhaust from the turbo back, custom 4" intake, afc/vpc combo, port N polished head, 272 cams, Ron R ffim with custom intercooler pipes(2.5 hot 3" cold, 4" xspower ic, stock bottem end with a cometic hg.

I hate to say this but here it goes...... If I have to put my 7m up to make it last till next year then maybe I should go 2j :3d_frown: Dude they are made to drive, if it breaks fix it and go again. Still good Numbers congradulations

Stock, or stock rebuilt??

Haha guys i drive this thing whenever its nice out. Im not putting it away and im not scared to blow the motor. This is a stock rebuilt motor with a cometic hg. The boost was all over the place because of my boost controller but mainly it was around 25-27psi and at some points i hit 29psi. Oh and these numbers were made on 93 octane.

my question is, how are you not worried about the motor? Mine was just rebuilt and blueprinted and all that good stuff (with stock parts) and im worried about 500WHP let alone 600WHP.

Im not worried because im planning to build a motor with forged internals anyways in the near future so i might as well have as much fun with this one untill the time comes.

im very curious as to how the stock internals handle over time with this kind of power....keep us informed

I would have thought you'd made more with 27.9psi, but it's still very respectable. I made 543 with the 1jz at 24.? psi. Maybe without the traction issues you would have been up or passed the 580 mark. I can't believe you would ever run that much boost on 93 octane. What would make you want to do that? It seems like a nightmare waiting to happen. I think my detonated at 17psi with 93 octane. What are you planning on running for boost on a daily basis?

Edit: I hate posting under Kwnate............his car is tooooo dam'd pretty.
