Hey everybody, Im Braden im located in colorado and new to the supra world. I am getting ready to purchase my bud's 89 turbo and get the project finished finally(well at least thats my hope).

Heres the lowdown on the car. The car has sat for two or so years in a garage and is prepped for paint and the motor/tranny have already been pulled. A couple of my friends have attempted to get motivated and do this project and have not finished. It has 70,000 chassis miles and a really clean interior.

My plan is to build the motor with the pistons/rods that are already bought for it and any other engine work that needs to be done, replace the head gasket, get it painted and put it all back together. Then once I have more funds start modifying the rest.

Any help on what to make sure to ask the machine shop or have them do is greatly appreciated. Well off to do more research.

P.S glad to be here, the validation takes awhile

Good to see some fellow colorado guys here... Ya im sure Ill run into a few problems of my own lol.

Ya the body is straight minus the one spot on drivers front fender, some body filler had to be used but other than that its straight and rust free. The interior is clean, the drivers side bolster has wear but no tears etc. And I need new door panels since a large pile of autocross cones fell on both of them lol.

Yeah it needs some TLC but no worries lol. I just want to get started and I already found out my friend that tried this project before me stripped out one of the block stud bolt holes so now im trying to locate a nice bare block. Seems like this might be a common theme as I build this car!
