Back again... Just a reminder, I'm the guy with the 1J in a Volvo wagon :icon_bigg
So, I'm still trying get the car road legal and the final task is the get the Neutral Safety Switch working, along with the reverse lights. It's come down to this, it doesn't even seem like it's connected.
Is there a way that the previous owner could have bypassed the switch???
The car starts in 1, 2 and Drive. When put in reverse, the back-up lights don't come on. I know these are all the symptoms of a bad NSS, but I also know this car's been F***ED around with so much that nothing is what it seems. It has a SupraStick computer (if that helps with the problem solving)
So in conclusion, I just need to know of all the different ways the NSS can be bypassed. AND way's I could fix, or temporarily fix my car's switch.
Thanks guys,
