Negative VF reading??

So when I was checking my VF for tuning the maf translator, my readings were in negative... Is there something I'm doin wrong?

I connected the terminals to VF and E1.

It stats between -5 and 0. So maybe it's reading backwards? When I let off the gas it gies to -0. Never a solid 0, there's always a negative.

With volt meter? Flip the leads. Can't have negative voltage. So really the - is irrelevant.

Yes I have a fluke multi meter and a basic voltmeter and they both read negative. Im pretty sure I did try with leads both ways, but I'll deff check again tonight.
