so theres this 97 mk3 7mgte for sale for 1500.
it has bhg. 103k original miles. its been sitting for a 4years. and needs slave and master cylinder. and grey leather interior.
im not sure what ill be getting into if i buy it. ive done a hg b4. but im not also sure whats going to be needed since its been sitting for 4 years.
i checked the dipstick, its FULL of milkshake. the guy is semi reasonable on his price.
ive already got mk3 7mgte and just not sure if i want to make a quick buck off it or if ill go down with it.
and its all stock.no mods done.

It sounds like its one of a kind. Buy it.


It will knock if there is coolant in the oil. Don't bother, unless it is very clean, or you can get it for half that price.

I kno exactly what your talking about. That's exactly what happened to my current mk3

Unless you happen to need a shell, and this one is very much on the VERY clean side... I would walk away from this one.

I've flipped 2 mk3's and made little on either one. To repair a BHG properly and replace all the necessary components after sitting for 4 years, your margin will be slim to nil. Pass on it.

so my intensions was, to take the interior and put it into my mk3.mine has burgandy leather interior and i just think the grey leather would look alot better.
the guy also told me, when he tried driving it, there was no power. therefore him believing it had bhg.
i did hear it start and run as well, and sounded good minus the fact of exhaust leak.
if its needing a new turbo, ive got a spare rebuilt one already.
the interior is perfect, and just the fact of it havngi 103k original miles.
i appreciatte all the help sm.
