heres the story, i was driving my 89 supra turbo around one day and when i pulled off of the road and into my driveway, coolant was coming out of my overflow hose....sooo i figured blew my head gasket naturally. Well i just got it back from my mechanic, and he put in an HKS headgasket, valve seals, cam seals, etc. and it is still doing it! The mechanic said i probably have a leak in my radiator somewhere which is causing it to boil due to low pressure...and he told me it looked shot while he was doing the job. He also said that the head gasket didnt appear to have blown at all. The coolant light comes on when i drive approx. 15 minutes....unless i have the heat on full blast....which he says is another sypmtom of a faulty radiator.....what do you guys think? Torqued to 72lbs.....

It could just be your radiator cap.
You could have the cooling system pressure tested that would tell you if it was the radiator.

Did you replace the head bolts?

The guy that did it has owned a lot of supras and said that the stock bolts work fine as long as you dont torque the hell outta them or overboost your car.

Thanks for your replies. I am going to have it pressure tested first. What do you guys think of the koyo radiators for $100??
