Uncle Sam is sending me enough money to paint my Supra this spring (Thanks Uncle Sam!). I need to pick out a body shop to do some minor rust repairs and of course do the painting. I want to use the same white that is on the new Lexus RX330s. Its a nice bright white, and since its on a Lexus, its probably a good quality paint. What kind of questions can I ask these guys so that I know that they know what they are doing? I don't want a cheap-ass paint job, I am willing to pay for quality work.

I plan to do some things to help insure that the car overall looks good. I am going to pull off all the side trim, pull off the fin, remove the foglights and license plate, remove the taillights (have new ones to put in), remove the targa seals (have new ones), and remove the turn signals up front (have new ones). I am doing this myself so nothing get lost or broken in the process. The windshield is already cracked, so I am going to have it removed so that the rust under it can be properly fixed. Is there anything else I can do?

Paging Adjuster to this thread...

Go look at Csnow's build thread. I know he put in some good advice there. Or just search his username with key words.
