ok so my mods are this:
-K&N FIPK
-BIC DDP
-BIC test pipe
-tanabe hyper medallion catback
-2.5" hardpipes
-24x12x3.5" garrett intercooler
-blitz DD BOV
-flex-a-lite 210s
-gauges

that's pretty much it for performance wise. My problem is that i'm hitting fuel cut @ around 14 PSI. I know it's normal, but is it normal to hit that much boost with the mods i have?? I want to overcome this, but i want to do it safely. I was thinking about going the MAF-T route, and i already have a 3" GM MAF. Just need the MAF-T. However i'm still undecided because LOTS have the lexus/550s and it's a proven setup and if i ever have problems there are lots of you to help out.

The first thing that i'm going to buy is a wideband 02. After that i'll have to decide if i'll be going the MAF-T or the lexus/550 route. The MAF-T will be cheaper because i won't "Need" an S-AFC or 550s because it's like its own tuning device as well. But will i be able to overcome my fuel cut option with my stock 440s??? i'll definetly be doing a turbo upgrade in the future so should it be a better option to just go straight to the lexus/550s??

I just want guidance to help me pick out my next mods. I want to do it right, and i want to do it once.

Thanks.

Derek

Drat... I know I really should write up a mod list someday. It's pretty stock IMO...

OEM headgasket
ARP headbolts torqued to 95 foot pounds
K&N air filter
BIC DDP
Spec stage 3 clutch
RPS billet flywheel
DrJonez manual boost controller
solid engine mounts
lighter wheels
MAFT & GM MAF

I'm sure I'm forgetting something... or perhaps a few somethings. Fuel system is still stock, so is the head & block. Virtually every seal & hose has been replaced.

MAFT has several advantages over the Lexus route. In theory, the stock 440cc injectors should be good to about 400 rwhp. The reason we replace them is really to balance out the Lexus AFM, and we install that to get around Fuel Cut. The MAFT allows you to tune out Fuel cut without installing the injectors - so you save some coin. Plus it has some basic fuel functions to let you tune your fuel delivery curve, plus it allows you to use any size injectors you like (up to 1020cc, anyhow), plus it has a built in fuel cut defensor style feature.

So, in short, it does the same thing as the Lexus AFM / 550cc injector combo, only it does it cheaper, with more flexibility and more features. What's not to love?
