OK, here's the deal...
I got a custom built PC (3 years old or so), 1 19" LiquidVideo LCD monitor, and a Radeon 9700 Pro Vid Card... the only things I can think that would effect my problem... OK, anyway, up until a few months ago (ish) everything worked fine. I don't think anything happened (storm or something like that) but the screen will just randomly flash off, and then will come back on in about 2 secs or so... It's perfectly fine if it's only on desktop or if I have a full screen game up... but throw in a window and BAM it goes haywire and it just takes a dump all over itself. The monitor has built in speakers, and there does seem to be a correlation between louder sudden sounds *think gunfire and music* that make the screen screw up regardless of what's going on...
OK, so last night we had a storm (maybe a coincidence) but now I have this "matrix" style line BS that shoot down the screen... it's annoying as HELL... anyway... is this a hardware (screen itself) or somehting crappy with my vid card/PC...
I'm starting to look at laptops, but I'd hate to spend that kind of money if nothing is really wrong. SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME! :icon_conf
