I just changed spark plugs on my N/A, put in some NGK 6097's. Anyways, afterwards it started running like crap, idling around 1750, and when driving, it would get to 2k rpm then fall on it's face. I was pulling around 6 codes at first, but now I'm pulling 2 codes, 24 and 41. My TPS is already adjusted, so 41 is out of the picture. I'm idling fine now after much adjusting, but it's still falling on it's face after 2k RPM. BTW, I checked everything, it's just like it was before.

ok u didnt mention this so Ill ask, did u check the GAP or are those pre gapped plugs? Check the gap, wires. Pull each plug and pull the #1 wire out, Put each plug on it and rest it on the engine (on a valve cover) then pull off the igniter wire. have a friend crank it and make sure each plug one by one is firing off. Then do this with one plug and each wire, you might find your fault.

Did you change the wires out at the same time or use the ones you had? You may have damage a wire pulling it form the old plugs. It is possible for it fire on six at idle and then drop one or two out if you have a bad wire.

I didn't change the wires, I have NGK wires that I've only had for a few months, so I doubt one of the wires is bad. When pulling the plugs though, some were dripping this oily water substance, should I get a medicine dropper and suck all of the liquid out then go from there?

THe plug or the wire was dripping? If it was me, yes I'd get the hole that you stick the wire into dry before putting them on. IIRC the wires fit pretty snuggly down there and you may be pushing that nasty liquid up into nose of the plug wire.

After pulling out all of the new spark plugs, I saw problems with the plugs from #3, #5, and #6. 3 and 5 have some oil on them, but 6, which is scaring me, was SOAKED in oil. I'm getting a vacuum down there and sucking out all the liquid/fluid down there. What could this mean?

Valve covers WOOTWOOT.

Either that or some sneaky elf went and filled up your plug valley with a bunch of oil.

But go get some metric bolts/washers/lockwashers and replace those valve cover screws if you havn't already.

Ok guys, I just took out all of the spark plugs, and then I got a vacuum and sucked all the liquid out of the valleys. I assembled everything back together and it's the same thing, could it possibly be my AFM? I can't get past 2k rpm.

the readjustment?

by the way, replace the valve cover gaskets and just get the stock screws and grommets from toyota. the screws are like 12 bucks, but dont torque them down too much (8 lbs is the limit), thats why you see so many stripped out
