Whos got it? I consulted the Colour FAQ but couldnt find anything except a list of the codes. For some reason all the pictures were taken away?

Anyways im thinking about getting the supra repainted from Pain 202 to Paint 204. Anyone got closeups or nice shots of their 204 cars?

My AE86 is code 204. It's technically called "Metallic Black" I think, but it has NO metallic flec, etc, it's a deep base code/clear coat solid black, kinda like the later code 202, but 202 is single-stage paint. I prefer 204. 87 AE86's came in 202. :)

they did stanza they all helped because i was looking for actual metal flake when there isnt any! thanks jeff for clearing that up.

SO 204 just is a thicker base coat as opposed to 202 which is a all in 1 paint?

Jeff, did you take a road trip to Winnipeg. That where I am. If your ever hear again drive down Portage Ave. on a sunday night in the summer. It takes forever to get anywhere, but that because everyone take their car out cruising. It quite a sight, and a problem to some.

202 was a single stage paint. U can now spray it base coat clear these days of course.
204 is base coat clear and has a light metallic in it. Not really much u can see to be honest. Its there if u look hard enough!
My car is 204 sprayed with the Dupont Chromabase system

That pic is from 1987, haha.

I've never been to Winnipeg, but my car has, apparently ;).

(I was 1 in 1987, my uncle drove it there).

Why would I ever willingly drive to Winterpeg? (I'm just kidding ;))
