^I dont understand why you would think that if hes not buying from Ron he's wasting his money

Ron's work is top notch & extremely reasonably priced. I checked into having a FFI fabbed locally in efforts to save a few bucks but found that it couldn't be done. On top of that, Ron has mastered the FFI's for our cars.

Im not knocking Ron's manifold. Im sure its great, but empera did not purchase it from him. I believe he not a complete idiot (most of the time lol) and knows what he is doing when he decided not to get one from Ron. He just simply is looking for pictures of a alt. relocation bracket, not what manifold to buy.

Ron sells the elocation bracket by itself. I wasn't implying that Empera should buy the whole FFI setup from Ron.

I've responded to your pm's and maybe you're not getting them? I had brackets available then and now have to wait for some more. What do you mean by low runner FFIM? Will it require moving the alternator at the ac compressor location?

In the PM's we discussed price and availability and you said they wouldnt be available for a while so i decided to "shop around" in the meantime.
I agree with everyone on Ron's Craftsmanship and would love to get one of his FFIM (kits) but i will be getting one done by someone else whom i've delt with before and hasnt failed me yet. If there wasnt that one option i would be going with Ron's FFI.
As for the Bracket it will be taking the place of the A/C Compressor which i removed in preparation for the bracket and manifold.

I know you are going with a short runner, but no one has posted a pic for ya, so here is a pic of my Alt drop bracket I made for using a long runner FFI. This way I keep my AC. You can see how the Alt sits in pics on my build thread.

No I'm not using the stock tensioner, mine is like the one in the pic below. IIRC the vent-blow by hose is 5/8".
