ok so im doing a conversion/build im dropping a 88 7mgte with ecu/harness into my 89 NA. im having the motor hotbathed and rebuilt with eagle rods and JE pistons(everything machined by noonan performance machining). head rebuilt by toyota, stock exhaust manifold with stock ct-26 with no shaft play, true 3" down pipe, 3" test pipe, 3" cat-back exhaust (full turbo back exhaust costum fab by Acceleraded proformance). hks SSBOV, turbosmart manual boost controller, HKS super mega flow intake. Radiator hardpipe kit, stock cams/cam gears, greddy timing belt, ngk wires, eletric radiator fans, apexi SAFC, AEM wideband, autometer boost gauge. NA rear diff, NA tranny, clutch masters stage 2 clutch. hopefully a vpc off ebay not sure if im gonna win the bid yet. what do you guys think of the build, any ideas on potential? how much boost should i run off the bat? any ideas/comments/conserns much appricaited. keep in mind all parts max out my current budget.

First off.
the Ct26 Really wont produce tons of power, around 300 is what it'll Hold.
so if you want more hp, buy a bigger turbo. u Could run 14psi but the ct26 wont be able to produce much more. 16psi maybe? and it wont last very long.
Also, Dont use the W58, the R154 is much Stronger.
so buy a R154 and a good clutch to go along with it.
Build will be good but ^ that above.

*edit* the pistons/rods are a waste of money unless u plan on making 400+hp, the stock Internals can hold a decent amount of power about 500. so around 450 to the wheels
If you plan on runnin more then 400 to the wheels. get em if you plan on making some hp, if u dont plan on making that much then those internals are a waste of a pretty penny.

sounds like a good build, you deffinatly want the tubo tranny, with the turbo tranny and the non turbo rearend, it will fly, no top end though trust me.
