I've owned my current MKIII for almost about a decade now. The 7M never treated my MKIII nicely (well as nicely as it should have at least). There were many threads regarding this car in the past. Last major renovation involved the car being stripped, chassis sent off to the body shop and painted Ice Pearl White. Put back together with almost everything that I could've gotten my hands on at the time including a shiny sparkling FFIM 7M. Currently she's been sitting for about the past 5 years in and out of garages, storages, and drive ways with time having taken its toll on it with its share of vandalism, dings and a mishap involving the entire hood, in short its turned into a bucket. I've been out of the country for about six months and slowly getting the MKIII bug again and am planning on coming back in about two months. I've always seen my projects to the end and have a tendency to not leave anything in the middle when it comes to the Supras.
Engine wise:
I have been very satisfied with the way my MKIV has treated me and how reliable the JZ platform has been, currently IT sits on a 70mm single with all the APU mods and love every minute of it. Currently the MKIII sits at a buddy of mine's place with a 1JZ/R154 just waiting to be plugged up but having seen a 2JZ NA-T tuned to about 700~ hp safely I'm wondering if I should just purchase a 2J Na and go full all out on it instead of the .5 liter smaller 1J. I'm looking for input on the matter, more or less the pros of 1J over the 2J NA.
Body wise:
I've always pimped the clean MKIII body lines and the both of my main MKIII's have been in either White or Pearl White. I am thinking about a change for a change... more along the lines of different color and a *possibly*the body kit below but I'm up for being talked out of that. The color that I had in mind was either Black or Gray, nothing flamboyant.
Using this time to brain storm the hell out of this idea and bring the MKIII up to speed for the new speed demons of today's era. I am looking for ideas and thoughts.
