hey i have a 86 with a 7mge and the engine is fully rebuilt with less that 3000 miles on it and when its idleing it sounds like a helicopter idk if it is the enging or tranny which has 75000 miles on can somebody please help me out and let me know what u think

Couldn't find anywhere in the tsrm what causes an engine to sound like a helicopter...mine doesn't...
Not trying to be an ass but seriously, imagine trying to help someone else with a noise problem and they tell you it sounds like a motorboat... that doesn't tell you anything, you need to be more specific and or give a sound clip

ya i just thought about how that sounds i think i figured it out though when i looked at everything me and my buddy noticed my crankshaft pully bolt came out to when im driving its wobeling aroung i hope that is all it is
