And here's a hint - ratcheting closed end wrenches will help a LOT.
It's really quite basic, though, you pull the upper intercooler pipe, the acordian pipe and air filter from the front of the turbo, heat shields, o2 sensor, and turbo support brackets. Drain the coolant and remove the two hoses providing coolant to the turbo.
Then you pull the 4 nuts to the manifold and 4 nuts to the turbo elbow, take off your shirt, lube up your arm, hopefully you're not built like the proverbial brick shithouse, slither your lubed arm down between the fender and the turbo and take off the two turbo oil fittings from the block. This is the hardest thing by far.
Then pull the turbo away from the engine until it pops off the exhaust manifold bolts, pull it forward until it pops off the turbo elbow bolts, and lift it straight up.
Done!
