I have an 89T 5speed that I am trying to do the timing belt on, the other one is frayed. Have Radiator, Radiator fans, Cluth fan, shroud, alternator belt, A/C belt , plastic timing cover and all visable pertainjing bolts removed. Problem I am running into is that I am still unable to get the lower metal timing belt cover off, have followed Pioneers Timing Belt Guide, but still can't get the cover off, most recent bolts I removed were the 2 bolts hidden behind the A/C compressor. Any help on the situation is very much appreciated.

you are trying to get the lower cover off?? Have you tried getting the bolts under the pulleys and the stuff?

Here's a pic of the bolt holes and such.

Well you never said you took off the crank pulley, so if you haven't then do that because you can't get that cover off without taking that pulley off. Period.

No problem, it's why we're here :) Once you get that pulley off the cover will slide off over the end of the crank then everything will be accessible. Don't forget to put it all back on before you re-install the pulley tho! ;)

UPDATE:

Rented a pulley remover and kindof lost, it has a bunch of bolts and a bronze thing with several holes, none of the bolts are the bronze item line up on that 19mm bolt on the crank though, can someone give me a rundown on how to remove the crank pulley? In advance, I apologize for being a friggin retard on this, still trying to learn and read as much as possible.

I have always simply tapped my pulley with a rubber mallet a few times, and it got to the point where I could shimmy it off by hand.

If you find that the cover is still stuck on there after the crank pulley is removed, and you feel all the bolts are off, then lightly pry it apart from the rear cover. There are dowels to locate them together, and they hold very well.

I just used my steering wheel puller when I did mine, I don't really know what you're looking at there.
