Any help will be much appreciated. Please don't bother if you're just going to bash this thread.

I've been working on my 1JZ swap in my 89' turbo shell. I work 6 days a week and about an hour or so on my day off. So I barely have time, but I feel like I'm getting close to finishing and I just want to drive it before the snow comes.

I got my wire harness extended done by phenoix tuning. Did a great job.

Been searching and researching and I can't seem to find the answer to them. Some of the links are down.

I'm having trouble either locating where the plugs go for the wiring harness, or what parts I'm missing exactly. So far I have most of the parts to complete the swap for a non-front clip.

Also I just got some non-abs brakes lines. Can I just disconnect the abs ecu and pull it out?

Motor and trans (R154)
2jz water pump
CX FMIC
driftmotion slave cylinder ss line
" " high pressure ps ss line
ps reservoir
dual electric fans
CX radiator
etc.....

Here are some pics and maybe it can help explain better than I can.

Quick pics of my progress so far.....

If you guys see anything missing please let me know. Certain parts I just kind of have it laying around somewhere. If anyone has a remedy for this. My core support is bent and now the bolts won't line up for my radiator support.

Do I need this particular part. Idle air control valve? If yes, where does it go?
p1767832_5.jpg

These plugs are located on the driver's side front near the headlights. Plugs for headlight?

This came off the intake manifold. Just can't find the plug/harness for it. Absolutely no clue

These wires were cut when I got my shell. (2 white wires spliced together)

Body plugs. I'm not sure if I need those.

Where does this run too and what is it?

This one I'm confused on. Like everything else on this build. When I searched some say yea it's for an MK3 1JZ others say it's for a soarer. I believe it's the right one, but I'm unsure where the pigtail goes

This plug is behind the glove box. I can't find where it would plug into though

Yeesh.

I know where some of those plugs go, but throw some numbers on your plugs in the pictures with microsoft paintbrush or something so I can tell you what number plug is for what. Otherwise trying to explain what plug in what picture I'm referring to is pretty hard to do.

I can say you need the IAC, it goes on the intake manifold on the rear toward the engine. There should be a hole that it fits into and bolts down. The engine should have come with that already attached, if you're trying to fit the one from the old 7M, don't do that, it won't fit the 1JZ.

That ECU is not a soarer ecu, it doesn't have that extra plug. I have a JZZ30 soarer motor in my car. I'd say it's a supra ecu, but I don't know for sure. I just know it's not from a soarer.

These wires were cut when I got my shell. (2 white wires spliced together) Thats the alt charge wire, it needs to be extended to the stud on the alt.

Those two lines get connected together, in stock form it would go through the heater valve first.

Where does this run too and what is it? Its a turbo cooling line. It goes to the nipple hiding behind the wastegate, in the picture.

Hope that helps some, connectors are hard for me to remember of the top pf my head.

I think he meant to go into the pictures and put numbers by the connectors. So we can identify them as connector 1, 2 etc.

2. Same as #1. Run both to your Battert (positive)
3. looks like for A/C relay
4. R154 Reverse light plug
5. ON the body or harness? not sure
6. on the body or harness? not sure
7. went to the blue noise thing on the stock 7m ignitor (not needed)
8.
9. Goes to starter. Replace!
10.
11. Knock sensor! def need this plugged in
12.
16. TPS sensor. on throttle body. IF jzz30 harness and you already have your tps plugged in, then traction control plug

18. yes that is the IAT sensor, It should be in the harness. Looks like plug #6

jzz30 and jza70 run 2 different IAT, Looks like you have the right plug #6, and the right IAT, just ones from a jzz30, the other jza70. I can verify when I get home. possibly send you the right one

The one right below the top one goes to the idle valve on the other side via a pipe that wraps around the back of the valve covers, which is missing in the pic. I have that pipe if you need one.

The very top pipe goes to the heater valve which should go on the firewall just out of frame to the top left of this pic, and then from the heater valve to the brass pipe on the firewall down on the bottom of the pic.

Sorry I didn't reply after you added the numbers, I haven't had more than a minute to spare in the past few days... newborn baby taking up all my time. If there are any more blank spots that other people didn't help with I'll try to fill them in as soon as I can. I never really got any good shots of my bay when it was mostly stock, I have all my extra plugs shaved and all the coolant pipes are different with a single turbo, so pics of mine won't help much now.

5. Tems shock motor plug I believe

14, 15, 17.... either ABS sensor wires or the brake fluid level sensor wire, they all have similar plug ends. Tracing the wires will tell you what they're for as the plugs like this are on the ABS sensor side, so it will lead to the wheel sensors if they are for ABS.

16. Could be TPS or traction control motor (which your motor doesn't have), or it could also be for the MAP sensor, which mounts on the firewall and is not there on a 7M car, it should have come with your motor. One from a 94' twin turbo is interchangeable, if you are missing it.
The other unidentified plugs I don't see on my car, but I eliminated a ton of stuff (a/c, ABS, alarm horn, anything 7M related, washer bottle/headlight sprayers).

I'm not running a/c or abs. I recently just got non-abs brake lines. Do I just tuck the wires away and disconnect the abs ecu?
