The engine's probably toast at this point. (Mine was)
If the head gasket is that bad (burning coolant) and the motor's been run several times in this condition, at a minimum the head is warped.
You'll need a new motor and head. There's several places in LA that import JDM (motors from Japan) that have low mileage. You'll need to make sure the head has an EGR port. The JDM motors don't use EGRs, but you'll need it for California smog. Check out some of these places:

If you got a NA and rebuilt it to a turbo, you can technically not install the secondary catalytic converter on the down pipe and still be smog legal because the NA did't come with it. It only had the primary catalytic converter. But you might have to get a waiver from the state referee depending on the mods you do.

PM me if you have any questions.

if you have money to blow out your ass then buy it, but most 16year old kids cant afford buying there first Supra then have to turn around and fix a head gasket + whatever else might be wrong.

Heres an example i bought mine for $500 with a BHG thought ok i'll just turn around pay my buddy mechanic to do it for $400(includes gasket set and machine work), once he tore the bitch apart my cams were fucked, blowby on the piston rings and on the valves, ridges in the cylinders that are un-hone-able(new word) and had to be bored .30, thats another $1200-$1400 right there. So be ready to fix problems yourself and/or pay to get your problems fixed. I work part time at $8 and have no financial help whatsoever from my parents so i am paying out my ass for my Suppie.

i bought my supra with a new jdm turbo engine in it... thinkin everything will be good and work fine but still little problems come up.. cause its a 15 year old car.. problems happen and im 17 so its hard to keep fixing it but everytime it runs right i love the car, very fun to drive just be ready to spend some money.

Maybe it's the MkIII Supra that will be the one to teach the children of America values, taste, and the importance of hard work.
