need help as soon as possible

My supra starts but shuts off after few seconds. The battery is new and the alternator is ok. The idle was acting funny up and down. It didn't overheat just hesistated and the check engine light was on.
any suggestions please?

Sound fuel starved???? Do you have gas in your tank, if you are sure, I would check your fuel pressure.

Idle speed control is my first guess. If the idle goes up to over 2k rpm, then drops, then back up that's probably what it is.

The ISC is the black dealy on the intake manifold. There's a rubber hose that comes from it to a chrome pipe over the valve covers, then to another rubber hose that finally attaches to the accordian hose.

Take the hose off the chrome pipe on the ISC side. Put your thumb partway over it and have someone else start the car. If you can make it idle by adjusting the amount of air getting into it past your thumb then you know it's the ISC at fault.

If the motor is stuck wide open it will cause this problem. The idle is too high, the ecu cuts fuel at around 2200 rpm, and the idle drops down. Often times the car will want to die.

You may be able to remove and clean the ISC and get it to work again. If not they're pretty cheap used. I paid like $25 shipped for my last one.

I checked the isc before and it worked fine. The idle is not high 650-700 rpms and it goes down. I filled it up today. Probably fuel pump

You said your check engine light was on too right?

Check that for codes.

Now, when it dies, does it slowly sputter and die (fuel) or does it just immediatly die/just stops running (electric)?

Reason I ask is cuz I had similar problems. Start right up and idle right at about 650 or so, then jsut die, no sputter or nothing. It was if I had reached in and turned the key off.

And I was getting an error code, don't remeber which one, but I think it was 14. Something having to do with the the electrical circuit for the ignition.

When it dies, check to see if you are getting spark, via a timing light.

It just die now when I try to accelerate. As soon as I push the pedal it shuts off. Last night I unplugged the isc but I messed up the plug now the idle stays at 2000rpms. No codes.
The engine light came on before the car shut down.

Check the TPS (throttle position sensor) Check for codes. Try looking here

The plug of the ISC is bad. There are some wires they are not conect it

also check your afm. I had a similar problem when the afm went bad.
