ok so i got shift last night, and ummm i hated it at first, and still kinda do but growing into it i guess. they labeled it as a simulator, but i really dont agree with that. Drift mode was labeled as realistic, i think its the most downed fucking retarded thing i have ever played in my life, i wish i had a gun for every time i spun out, the handling is just outrageous. but i cant really say how real it is because i dont know about you but i have not yet personally drove the new camaro at 100+ mph or a GT2 car. so i cant tell you if its real or not. i like some of the camera effects, but going 100+ and tapping a wall that makes your vision act as if i was going into a coma when i just lost a mirror is kinda gay, the effects get really annoying really quick. graphics are pretty good to. gameplay is very mildly enjoyable to a point. i feel its a good outcome of EA and they have the right idea at least and they left the ricer world. but still i should be getting angry at a game because its not doing what it should. and that seemed to be happening at every race event i did. fuck me im oversteering at 25mph on a simple turn, then get raped up the ass by the 5 cars behind me because there is something weird going on with my car. then you catch up again and here we are again in the grass, or better yet that damn gravel. oh then there is the rival races, eg.. evo vs sti. so yea they got the lambo lago lp560 vs the lardo lp 660, 660 has almost a 100hp difference and same with tq. weighs less, both AWD you'd think that the 660 would be better overall, fuck no off the line hell yea. but first turn your screwed but under powered lambo, watch out guys he pit maneuvers your ass if you aint careful :p but IMO grid is still the foshizo :p "based on PC games" as for console Foroza and Dirt 2 and Grid are on my top lists. in the end i will attempt to play shift and hope that i will become one with it and maybe enjoy it, but as of now i can officially say i hate it so far

btw.. i judged both games using keyboard, logitech gamepay, xbox 360 controller, and what my wheel momo racing force feedback "imo is the best". soon will play them both on a logitech g25 WOO lol

Yeah the drifting actualy made me stop playing the game for a while. It's not realistic at all!!
The other racing is ok but it follows along with all the other NFS games were they exadurate everything! The blurring when you go fast really bugs me aswell. I think I'll get used to it as I play it more, I'm just used to playing forza 2 which is somewhat more realistic.
