Need fast help... tranny won't separate from engine

All the bolts are out, starter is out, clutch slave is taken off, tranny in nuetral. For some reason the tranny will only come about an inch off of the engine. IT has me completely furious. anyone know why this is happening.

89 supra turbo w/5speed

you need to remove the fork.
The clutch slave puses on it, that what is holding the trans in

make sure to pull firmly on it, there is a type of spring/clip that helps hold it in place. That had me stumped for hrs the first time i tried to pull the gbox too.

i had the same problem. took me 3 days to get it. try prying the pressure plate loose from the flywheel and then take it out. thats what held me up for the longest time. freakin thing has never been out as far as i could tell.

wow, the fork pulled right off, and the tranny slid out easily! thanks guys!

haha same thing happened to me the first time. Supramania to the rescue!

i just use long flat blade screw driver
