there are some small all aluminum trailers that are right at 1klb. problem is most of those are rated at 4klb max load. its doable, but close all the way around and a supra will barely fit.

most trailers are alum and steel and weigh 2klb+

if there rated at 4000, thats cool the supra under 4000, an all that would put me under 5000 lbs...

I bought my trailer for $1800. 16ft, weighs 1700 lbs. My old towing car was a 95 chevy astro van. Towed many supras with no problems.

Now I have a Tundra DC 5.7L..... :evil2:

My buddy picked up a car dolly from some guy in town for like $200. Not sure how much it weighs, but it's not THAT much, my brother and I were able to pulll it up my driveway by hand to put it beside the house once.

We towed my Supra 800km with my grandpa's 89 Dodge Ram Van (with almost 600k km on the odometer). It was like a really long slow train from hell :)

i just towed s383mmber1's car 60+ miles to my house with my tow dolly. (actually just got home a little while ago) mine weighs 750lbs, and can carry 3400 directly over the axle (which is a lot!)- it pivots and swivels, too. i picked it up for $750, rewired the lights, greased the wheel bearings, checked it over, and all is golden.

and for a manual car, you don't need to pull the driveshaft. :)
