So I just found out I am going to need to rebuild my turbo and they're charging me $350. So before I went that way I started looking around for an already
re-built or a new one. I found this guy that is willing to sell me his CT26 from Godspeed (link below) for $400 bucks he said he never got to putting it in his vehicle. I have never heard of them but it seems like a good turbo or so it looks like it. Any of you guys have any suggestions for anything else or thoughts/info about this turbo?
Thanks for the help also first post on this forum hopefully it's in the right area

I'm running a Godspeed radiator, and it fits and works great. That said, I'm not sure I would trust something as complex as a turbo from them, especially with a lot of Chinese knock offs on the market.

Yes it is a ebay turbo. I wouldn't put it on my car, I also wouldn't buy it for $400. I suggest looking somewhere else.

Awesome, thanks guys for the replies and I might lean more towards my local turbo shop or one of AbsoluteSpeed's sources. Since I have to spend money on it I might as well get it upgraded I want more BOOST lol

60-1 have been known to have reliability issues. That being said there are some that are supposed to have fixed that.
Best to do a bit of research on the different sized turbos before you purchase one.

godspeed has a website do they not? if it wasn't from ebay I'd trust it. Ebay has a lot of knock-off stuff. But I was looking into sway bars from the godspeed website. Saves me about 60$ which will be spent of shipping if I was to order ST sway bars from any other website.

Yea it seems fishy. So I'm going to stay away from their turbos. I decided if I'm going to get something this important I might as well do it right no matter what the price is. So I might either rebuild my turbo or just buy a brand new one

I see you're in Texas. Who is your local turbo shop? Please don't say Majestic Turbo in Dallas (area). They absolutely do not stand behind their work! Maybe the bigger guys, but not the little fish like us. You've been warned.

Unfortunately it is not Majestic Turbo in Dallas it's the one in Waco. lol
Now that being said...I might wanna go with a brand new one or send it to one of those sources that you guys provided above.

Yeah, it's that one on 815 Jefferson Ave. in Waco. Steer very clear and far from them. Many people that have experience problems with their workmanship have been given the shaft when their turbo wasn't covered under warranty.

Hey guys, so I found a CT26 60-1 turbo and the guys wants $500 for it. He said one of their customers removed it since he doesn't have the Supra anymore. They said the turbo has about 3000-3500 miles on it. What do you guys think about it? Good deal or....? Again I'm not too savvy, yet on the turbos, but I'm still learning. Lol

find out who built it. also, try to get it for like $400. i think you can pick up a fresh one for $600 or so.

I tried and they wouldn't lower it from $500 that damn guy from the shop started saying they were firm on the price. I've also kept looking around in other supra forums if there's any for sale for less. These are the pics for the turbo that I was looking at.
