I've used that FPR before.

It's adjustable from 1:1 to 3:1.

I did not like it with stock ECU/piggybacks.

If you have a standalone, or another way to better control your injectors, it's a nice FPR.

You can use the stock Turbo FPR. Sounds like you're going to be using a stock CT-26, and the stock FPR will work just fine, and it's a whole lot cheaper.

please tell me ur using GTE electronics

no, i know i need to retard the timing as well. i belive with 440 injectors, timing retarded, and turbo fuel preasure regulator i should be able to run the stock 6psi without problems.

The GE electronics na-t costs around as much as the GTE electronics na-t, except it's considered a lot safer and has been done a lot more. A guy who did 1/2 na-t (ge electronics) ended up selling his, and I think it's because he didn't have the funds to keep fixing things. Good luck.

I hope you have more on your list of "things to do" other than just injectors, timing, and turbo FPR. :p

my ultimate plan is to use a maft pro with speed density for fuel and timing, lm-1 wideband for tunning, and aeromotive fuel pressusre regulator. i just droped a 30k jdm 7m-ge engine with hks mhg and arp studs in the car. i was really just wanting to get it running on stock boost untill i can afford the 400 dollar lm-1 and the 600 dollar maft pro. if it blows i got a 350 just waiting for a new home.

The maftpro will help, but turbo electronics is a good fall back. The key here is fuel cut.You have the right idea and your going in a good direction with the parts listed, but dont skimp on the turbo electronics. Im working up my parts for my na-t as well.

Ps. the 350 is the easy way out if you blow it ;)

#1 on your list should be a wideband! Gotta watch those numbers when going NA-T.

I jsut purchased a wideband and SAF-C for my NA-T.

Pretty cheap and a GREAT way to get a basic tune.

And the LM-1 isn't 400. Maybe it is new, but i jsut picked upa used one for 250 :) and Safc for 100 shipped :)

Gotta look around!

i tought that the turbo had a fuel cut and the na did not.

You are correct. But having high compression and boost, fuel cut is a good thing for us. Remeber detonation= bad, and you dont want to destroy your investment

you could use a window switch to cut the boost our fuel at any rpm you like.

No, fuel cut is a fuction of the ecu, its there to protect your motor.I think you maybe slightly confused on what fuel cut is and what it does exactly. You may want to research further into this before you endevour into your project anyfurther. Goodluck.

my understanding of fuel cut, and from what ive read on this forum is that the fuel cuts at a certian rpm, wich is the same rpm everytime. a window switch would allow you to set a certian rpm that you would want the injectors/fuel pump to shut off. i could be wrong but i think thats what i read.
