so i was wondering if theres any negative effects on still having my acis system set up. i'm na-t now and the car runs great even with the vaccum system setup the same way it was when i was NA. The only thing i had changed to the vaccum system was i threw a vsv off that fuel acuator on the intake manifold (na manifolds) and then blocked off the vaccum hose that was coming from it previously. BTW i do know the acis system doesn't work under boost, but what if i don't boost the car, then is everything is working order? With that said i don't even see it affecting my car even if i do boost

The only thing it would hurt is your tires, if you get it to work right.
On other cars that have a really large aftermarket support base, these types of tests have been done.
Even on supercharged(pressurized) intakes, longer runners and smaller plenums still work best on a street car. Compared to manifolds made for 4500-6500 rpm.

It would be very nice to have just not sure how it's switching gear will work under + pressue, the can has a non return valve but there has to be a reason Toyota dropped it on GTE's.
It seems like Dean Marcum said he couldn't get his to work right. That doesn't mean the principal can't be applied. The supercharger kit for the 1MZFE Camry retained all OEM EFI equipment.

I use the NA Vacc tank as a buffer for my Cruise Control so it doesn't get cranky if it goes + on cruise so the tank side works so I can't see any reason it won't work if the plumbing is juggled a little for the actuator.
