It's in the TRSM...here it is on-line:

It's the same as stock - 10 deg BTDC w/ terminals E1 & TE1 jumpered on the test block.

personally, i don't think it's worth the trouble at all. it only moves the powerband around, and if you're going for around 400hp, the N/A cam will start to stifle the motor. less lift, more duration. ;)

Lift is different. I don't know about duration, it isn't listed in the repair manual. My 91 manual lists intake GE lift as 38.16mm and GTE lift as 38.35mm. Exhaust has the same lift.

Which looks like a reprint from my old 88 manual. But I know they have different part numbers at one point. Like in 89, when the car gets the "Cressida" cam profile.

jake, i read something that i *think* jeff lange posted some time ago. i can't find it now, but i'll keep looking. it stated the info that nick just posted, as well as the duration of the cams. i don't remember the numbers, but i remember the reading that the valves would be staying open longer with the N/A cams, (duration).

perhaps my memory has failed me? it wouldn't be the first time, i suppose. i'll keep digging.
