Well, it's been several days but the powers that be decided to validate my account. Thank you.

As made apparent by my name, I'm a friend of speed. I'm mostly joining to keep tabs on his build as we are literally located diagonally across the continental US. I'm also a fan of the Supra. I've always found them to be nice cars, so don't let my Mustang-ness worry you. If I ever get the time, space and money I'd love to build whatever it is you call the last gen Supra. It's one of my favorite "normal" sports cars. By normal I mean it's attainable, unlike an Aston or Maserati.

Anyways, I'll probably do a lot of lurking since I have a lot to learn and because I'm studying mechanical engineering, so not much free time there.

cheers

Oh, I forgot to mention... in case anyone cares... I've got a 1984 Mustang that I'm building. It was supposed to be a 660cid monster but the recent increase in gas prices caused me to go for economy so I picked up a 2.3L for it as a lot of guys are getting 35mpg out of the 4 banger 'Stangs. I do have a turbo for it just in case gas becomes more affordable for me.

My daily is a 2000 Ranger with the stroked version of the Mustang 2.3L and I'm getting 23.5mpg out of it right now. Not much done to it: 2005 Explorer wheels, Explorer center console, waiting to install the Explorer OHC and Explorer 8.8 rear axle with a limited slip posi 3.73 and disc brakes. Oh, I recently threw on the 4x4 grille since I think it looks a tad nicer.
