n/a vs tc and later a 5.0 stang

ok so if someone would please explain this to me. so i'm comming home from work just now, and i see a scion tc with an exhaust fly past me. so i catch up to him at a light and i end up getting raped ass backwards. by the end of 1st he was a car ahead of me. and pilling hard so i backed off. he said that he was runnning a intake and exhaust. then later i see a 5.0 stang. i just drive past him not thinking anything of it, and we meet at a light. i get the jump and about 2nd he starts creeping till he pulls ahead. i'm at a loss right now. cause my cousin had a mkii with just an intake an exhaust and took down mustangs easily. i'm in a mkiii and can;t do it. well thats my story. in need of ma-71 turbo.

The car is heavy, but other than that, there's a number of reasons. Different drivers and of course, the fact that you probably have a worn out engine that will easily put out less power than it should.

i'm just more disturbed about the 5.0. tc i just thought it woulda been closer. i guess i should just hang it up on the performace and just go for looks.

i know. and i plan on rebuilding my old 7m head and putting a 3 angle valve job on it, and shaving it just a tad and cleaning all that carbon or crappy build up in the intake.

dam that sucks man Where were you at? every time i wana race someone they never test. The only race i had was with a white lexus sc400. i was on nothern n i passed him n he got all sad and did a ricer flyby. i got off the bulevard n he followed me. i threw it in second. i gained a bumper on him by the time i threw it in third he was gone. im perty sure it was and automatic. dam na oh yeah he had a black neon with a gay ass wing on it following him. i wanted to rear end that little egg lookin girl car.
My machanic is still back dating me on the swap. My friends dad mite do it in P Dub but i still gota talk to him. I mad cuz i want it done already.

yeah that sucks man. this town is no place for an n/a. :cry: so i'm lookin for a mkiii turbo now. you sure that a lifter just isn;t bad or something? cause if you are still racing it, i don;t think its a rod. cause it shoulda gone by now. and the tc was highway 50 east by the airport and troy. and the 5.0 was on highway 50 west by walgreens and albersons

Once you get used to turbo's, you won't like NA's anymore. They just don't have that top-end kick like turbos do.

idk it mite be a lifter. its been soundin like that since i got the car over a year ago but its my daily driver n im drivin it till the engine goes kaboom. i think me n my friends are gona do the swap more than likely. One of them says he knows bout toyotas so we probably gona do it ourselves. its just basically removing stuff and putting it back in the clip is complete. when i git the clip down here ima try starting it up. ill keep you updated 4 sho. Oh yeah i saw a blue mkiv with body kit on the west side. i followed him to auto force on elizabeth. i talked to him for a second he said it was a single. that car is bad ass

well my engine has only about 80000 original miles. but who knows.
