I was just driving today, and it just kinda came to me, theres no non-turbo supras in Japan and Canada, and for all I know probably europe too, and seeing how most of the old brochures mainly focused on the Turbo supra and whatnot, so my question is, why does the N/A exist? and why only in the US? before you guys get any bad ideas, I drive a N/A and I was just curios as to why.

N/A was only unavailable in Canada in 91-92.
Also, Japan did get N/A Supras. Just they were 1G-GE powered...
Europe got 7MGE Supra's too...

I think the reason why n/a's exist is for the reason why I bought one which was lower cost in the initial purchase price and lower costs to maintain it. Unless I took the car to the track the times I can get to safely use more power where I live would be far and few between. If I blow up this engine only then I might consider a 1JZ.
