about a month ago my car started to missing just one cyclinder and it caused rough idle, sluggish take off but it is hard to even hear when i get up to speed. ive replaced the spark plug wires and plugs. the weird part is sometimes itll start up and run fine, turn it off and on again and its missing?? (i'm guessing something electric)

there is some problems with the engine i already i know (just havent had money to fix) tps is almost shot... there is oil sitting on the 5th and 6th plugs

also a side note if i add throttle i can hear a rod knocking about 3 or 4 times then it would stop knocking

If you have oil on top of the plugs, that can cause a misfire. Replace your valve cover gaskets and the #3 gasket between the covers. I had the same problem a couple months ago and replacing those 3 gaskets cleared up the issue.

sounds good but wouldnt the crush washer on the spark plug stop the oil from leaking down? and there isnt a rod knock just the sound of the piston moving up and down...
