off topic, very.
I bought a 1983 yamaha xt200 which i have completely rebuilt. new tires, new wheels, frame was sanded painted and repainted, new chain, tubes, sprockets, handles, grips, remade entire wire harness by hand, engine wise: new piston, bored over, new rings, new rod, bearings, valves, head was machined, new valve seals, valve retaining clips, street cam etc etc.
Ill try to get pictures but im on dial up.
anyways.. i have a question about carburation.. ive never liked the way the float works, i had an idea.. and i need to see if it willl work or if im just dreaming.. i was thinking of taking out the carburator float completely.. and routing the fuel drain at the bottom of the float bowl, back to the fuel intake pipe, buy using a Y connector.. So now the incoming fuel would be from the tank / carburator. causing a constant flow of fuel.
Would this setup work at all? Im working on some graphs and other pics that ill post asap. Thanks anyone that helps.
P.s. been gone so long cuz i moved and forced on dial up =(
and i sold my supra =(
ok heres an update on me kinda... i moved, forced to sell my supra. health is still very bad, and even worse, i got in a wreck.
my girlfriend had a delsol at her X's so i picked it up in peices. rebuilt top end, put body back together, got it running, and got in a wreck 2 days later, broke my leg and shattered a bone. (going in for surgery in a week). just when i thought my life was bad, this kinda stuff happens to a sick kid =( blah.
