My Tail Lights Are Different than everyone elses???

Those are kinda sweet... in fact me and my buddy were just complaining last night nobody made any tail lights for our cars that we have found
They're originals with either a vinyl overlay, or painted.
The only aftermarket MKIII taillights I've seen are all clear, and I believe Willfish had them.

Likely modified 89+ lights. I've seen some (failed) attempts to do this sort of thing in the past on here. They were trying to copy this:

Lol, that's going in my sig nature. Yeah the design of our tail lights don't work with round inserts.
Honestly I'm not sure I haven't looked up close but they look like they were made that way it might be vinyl but its definitely not paint. but they were on the car when i bought it....
And honestly they will eventually be tinted so regardless it doesn't matter unless someone wants to trade before i tint them..
I will ask my buddy tonight when i go to work on his car... he was looking pretty jard for a set of aftermarket about a month ago
