Alright so i bought the supra as a car to drive well i finished my mk1 mr2 swap(gen 2 3sgte 250whp 2000 lbs). Now my 7m blew a hg(i think) but its a dumb engine anyways, i went out now and bought a 240 well im working on my supra and i ordered a 1jz engine tranny turbos ecu harness y pipe and mounts today and started to pull my engine today im sure i will have many many questions in the up coming weeks.. i am a noob to the supra community but not to Toyota's or engines in general ahha if i forget to say thank you i appologise and will thank you in advance for any help any of you can do

Did you get a soarer or supra 1jz? Either way, good luck. I'm just about to finish my 1jz come may when I get back home. But, definitly post some pics and what not.

The soarer 1jz clears the crossmember. I have the soarer 1jz in my car right now just waiting to finish it up. Just some the wiring is left.

oh alright thanks.. 1 more question ahha what is the diameter of the intercooler piping at the motor out of the turbo and into the intake... thanks

got some parts on order now.. intake y pipe downpipe apexi safc neo aem wideband apexi avcr vibrant 25x12x3 intercooler and an apexi turbo timer and some motor mounts... got a call from the shippers for the engine and because of the rail strike they are still a tad behind(did see some pics of the engine looks like brand new

so it took a while but my engine finially came.. it came with a b&m oil filter adapter and it also came with a c's shortshifter... the downside is the pan was bent and the oil intake tube was also bent.. the ignitor and map sensor was missing

the good is the shipper is sending me a new ignitor the shipping company is paying or the oil pan and intake tube and i had a map sensor i took off my spare mr2 engine 10 mins ago:> so hopefuly once my y pipe gets here i will have some progress pics for you all


Ps whoever said taking the turbos off was hard, never took the waterpump off.. not hard just long process turbos took me 45 mins first time doing it
