my plan?

So i found a 89 supra on craigslist, it needs fenders and the peice in front of the hood(forgot the name) he also said it has a rodknock. I emailed him and he said it has an intake, electronic boost controller, intercooler piping, greddy bov and lowering springs. Does it look lowered or cut because im sick of cut springs lol the last owner of my car cut the fronts and its driving me crazy.

Since the car is only $800 i was thinking of either swapping my motor into that car and selling my car as a shell or parting it out. Another thing i was thinking about is buying this car, keeping my car as a dd and working the entire summer to swap a jz into it. The thing is i need a place to keep the car, i could probably keep it at a friends but thats not a definite......Idk if this seems like a dream but someone tell me if either of these sound like good ideas

Thats a good deal. What is the paint on that car you know? I'd buy that and swap motor if the body is really good, which looks good in the ad. Or you can part it out and make back the money you bought it for and still keep some parts. I will motor swap it though or fix the motor thats in there right now.

Swap it. Use the new one as a dd. And put a jz series motor in the other car. Always leave yourself a dd.

I don't know how he did it, but it is definately lowered. I'd keep your dd if it is running fine and I'd swap a jz motor into this one, but it isn't cheap........ask me how I know.

My car now needs springs, it runs great. How much do u think a complete 2jz swap would cost? I was debating if its worth it, or buying an aem and a bunch of stuff for my 7m.

nope someone else on the forum ended up buying it and parting it out i think lol
