the JZ is sick man! its matic so everytime it downshifts i get the occational fishtail!

I got a Matic JZ since my stock engine was matic too.. so just for the sake that everything would be kept original in the interior i let it be that way.. the Hood and the Trunk are on carbon fiber 3m stickers..

The conversion in the dashboard is basically as follows..
chop the right side..
transfer to the left..
put a little body filling..
paint..

tada!

The 1JZ IMO is better then a RB20 and the RB25 IMO but if it where me I would of went with a RB26 or RB30. I have mixed feelings about your swap but kudos to you for doing something creative and unique. I am currently swapping a RB26 into a Z31.

The rb26 is way way much more expensive than the 1jz.. plus toyota parts are cheaper by nature than nissan's.. so whether it be stock oem parts or aftermarket.. its a sure win to invest on a toyota engine.. as you can see also in the pictures, looking at the interior.. everything is stock and all the gauges are working.. speedometer,rev meter, gas, water temp, oil pressure.. everything.. even the Overdrive button and the power/snow button works..

inshort if you were to sit down and drive.. you wouldnt notice that i changed the engine unless you pop the hood

The original engine was a RB20de Neo6 Non-turbo.. plan to put it in a cefiro and make it everyday car..
