Well today I just sold my 88 N/a. It was wierd when the kid came to test drive it, it reminds me of how I fell in love with it. The kid just though my car was out of this world. It almost brought tears to my eyes to watch him drive off with it i really loved that car im already missing it. Anyways i got 5,800 Canadian for it and now im going for my real dream of owning a turbo supra.
I have never driven a turbo supra so I have no idea what it would fell like with boost in a supra so anyone got some buying tips for a turbo?? anything that I should notice different from my n/a??? I know alot about supra in general as it just wondering how u would describe the feeling of turbo in a supra.

thnx for any input.

Pure fun, lol never driven NA, but man...do I love my turbo, just hearing the turbo spool up, hitting the back of your seat on hard accel, flooring it at the right rpm in 2nd *drools*
Your gonna love it..pure and simple, if you dont, ill be it off you, wouldnt mind having 2 turbo supras :D

well, soon as you mash the gas it will feel like your old NA, but a moment later, it will feel like something else alltogether. Things to watch out for while buying: all the usual stuff, plus an increased chance of getting one with a BHG. Then theres all the turbo stuff: when I got mine the turbo was fine (could hear it spin away) but it wasn't making any boost. Turns out both my wastegate and BOV were stuck wide open. Easy fix, and the car ran great after that.

If you've never driven a turbo car, you're in for a good suprise, but if you've never modded a turbo car you're in for some real shockers every time you do a mod to that car. The faster you get that stock elbow, downpipe and exhaust out of there, the better you'll feel. Faster spool, more boost, better flow, etc, etc.

Also, your NA might not have had TEMS or the limited slip, so these could be nice surpises to you.

Actually, the turbo should have a little less umph when you first mash the pedal at a stop, but once the turbo spools you won't care.
