This is my first forum experience, so forgive me if I don't obey one of the forum rules.
I will study the manual before asking questions.
My supra involvement started after I participated in my first drag race. I was addicted right away and started building a one purpose car with a few friends.
The car is an Toyota Corolla SR (AE86) with a 1jz swap.
We stripped the car completly and build in an 6 point cage. the engine is completely stock apart from a watercooled intercooler and a greddy R BOV.
The car performs quite well. It drives straight and handles well. Since we were in a hurry while building, the car is not an oil painting. I am improving her looks along the way bit by bit.
In order to improve reliability I am going to build in a ladder bar construction with a spool equiped mustang rear shaft. after this we will concentrate on the engine. I am planning to install a megasquirt (minisquirt) EFI, upgrade ignition, upgrade to a single turbo and install direct port Nitrous.
The goal is 500+ Hp and 1/4 mile times in the 10 sec range.
I hope to learn a lot from this forum and will try to ask only smart questions.
