Got home at 1:30 AM, went to my car at 7 AM for school. Someone slimjimmed my passenger door and stole my GPS from the window and my backpack from the front passenger seat. My $1400 in CD's were left alone, along with my aftermarket stereo system and 4" pocket knife. I had to replace everything today and have to redo all my homework. I'm out a total of $700 (replacement GPS was only $150, but the stolen one was $230). Went to school with a pen, mechanical pencil, notepad, and my Mastercard. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly pissed off right now.:icon_evil

Atleast they slimjimed the door instead of breaking the window.

The only thing a lock does, is keep an honest man out.
Sorry to hear about the situation. I've been there. I had both my supra and my truck broken into in the same night. Luckily I pay full coverage for everything, so I was only out $100. $50 for each vehicle. Shit happens, don't take it personally. Things will turn out fine. I think the "average person" gets broken into 3 or 4 times in a life time. I am on number 2. I am almost done. :biglaugh:

2nded. They could have easily looked in the bag and noticed it was school books and a binder and left it. Something must have scared them off because they only grabbed what was within reach of the passenger door in the front seat. I hope whoever broke into my car gets stabbed and dies a slow painfull death.

I've posted a plea for the return of my backpack on Craigslist. BTW, that was my Marine Corps backpack. I've had it since bootcamp and it holds a lot of sentimental value.

Sorry to hear about you getting robbed man, but I have to say, what were you doing leaving your GPS on your window?!

If you are going to leave anything of value in your car, make sure that you at least keep it out of sight. Hell, I'd look into getting an alarm now, there isn't any guarantee that the thieves won't come back for the replacement...

It was that girl you posted about going on those dates with.

She heard you told everyone she had two MySpace pages. Now all her friends are pissed they're only on one :icon_razz

It sucks, but better the Geo than the Supra, Adam.

I leave my supra empty whenever I can, or keep stuff in the trunk under the hide-a-sub. No point in breaking in if there's nothing of value to take. The most they'd steal out of my 4runner is a crappy deck that sucks balls, a snowbrush, a scratched up cd i burned last year, and a plastic tube of cargo bungies. There might be an empty pop can in the back somewhere too.
