my friend has no oil pressure when the car is running and driving. also a little bit of white smoke out of the exhaust. There is an oil leak but cant find the leak. Seams like the oil is appearing on the top of the hood latch but that does not make any sence. I am stumped. I was thinking the oil punp or sending unit or something like that. The car does not over heat so i dont think it is the head gasket. Also he can smell oil when the car is driving.

idk about the hood latch. try checking your rear main seal. happened to mine and i had no oil pressure.
its most likely the head gasket tho. run a test first then youll go down the line of what it could be
check if theres oil in the antifreeze or vice versa. compression test. blown headgasket test ect.

Check the valve covers and the sparkplug wells for oil.
