this is my friends 75 toyota celica he bought prolly 5 weeks ago. it had cut springs front and back, cut way too much. and some 13in eagle wheels. we did coilovers up front with 350lb springs as i had them lieing around and stock front struts for now. and then got some springs from the rear of a 85 300zx at the junkyard to get the rear lifted. still need to cut another 1/2 coil from them though. we also replaced the brake master cylinder. cleaned the reservoir bottles, including the one for the clutch and then bled the brakes and clutch till we got clean fluid at all bleed screws. installed an external fuel pump as the stock was toast and also not capable of feeding the dual mikunis properly. also installed a holley fpr that has a return on it. so its all setup properly. clutch obviously isnt stock, previous owner didnt remember what it was but said it was a 4 puck sprung hub, clutch pedal is super stiff and it deffinatly grabs hard. lol.

engine is a 22r bottom 40 over with ported and polished 20r head wit hthe aluminum rocker setup. guy said its between 10 and 10.5:1 compression. header, dual 44mm mikuni carbs, msd 6a ignition under the dash which doesnt appear to be hooked up, and a mallory 11k rpm tach in the stock tach location, but doesnt work. its on the tach utput of the msd which as i said, doesnt appear to be hooked up. paint is good except a few chips and scratches. unfortunatly alot from sitting in his garage when we were working on it. but over all nice.

it needs some things, like a center consol and for me to fix all the botched wiring and a thicker wire from the battery in the trunk to the starter etc... we got rid of most of the ugly ss mesh hose covering crap but still got more to replace and to get a better electric fan for the radiator and wire it up properly etc...

wheels are drag, forge the model, but they are 15x7 0 offset. tires are falken 912's 205/50/15 front and 225/50/15 rear. he rolled the rear fenders as it was so low before they would touch the tires. now its not an issue. anyway, heres the pics so far, and yes, the heat shield for the brake reservoirs and the valve cover are both chrome.

btw, we are looking for the strut housings and hubs from a 79-82 corona. so if you have any or know someone with some lmk how much including shipping to 33604 tampa, fl. thanks.

I'd do bad things to that Celica. I'm wanting to build one for 'my son'... I think the wife can see through that excuse though. :biglaugh:
